If you are looking for elegant design, high quality workmanship and durability. Then look no further than the Layflat notebook by Ola studio. I was kindly sent 2 of these notebooks to review. Even as I took them out of the package I could tell i was dealing with something special, as each notebook cover had a beautifully textured design and the weight of them felt perfectly balanced for their size.
Both notebooks are similar in the fact they are A5 with 128 soft white pages that are sewn at the spine, both also have a 300 gsm embossed soft cover and printed with vegetable based inks.
The main differences between these two great notepads are the beautiful patterns they adorn each. The 1st is the Kaffe print in brick red, which is part of the autumn/winter collection and inspired by the American artist Kaffe Fassett, best known for his knitting, ceramics and patchwork. The 2nd is their popular lines design in navy blue. The Kaffe print also comes with lined pages and the navy blue notebook with blank pages. I honestly can’t tell you enough about how amazing these covers feel and look, they have a great texture that takes them from normal to luxury.
The inside pages both ruled and lined are of a premium quality and are incredible to write/draw on and the best thing… these books are Layflat, which means you can easily work across both pages and rest it open at any given page with ease.
In conclusion, these notebooks look amazing, feel amazing and a very satisfying to write in. They cost £11 and can be found over at www.olastudio.co.uk and instagram @ola_studio. Please visit them and check out their stationery Collections.
